Status asthmaticus is a frequent reason for admission to the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU). In 2017, a hurricane shook the Caribbean with disastrous consequences, making asthmatics vulnerable to exacerbation of their condition. The aim of our study is to ascertain a change in the prevalence of status asthmaticus pediatric patients after a natural disaster.
