Leveraging joint-specific phenotypes for genome-wide association studies and SNP heritability estimation of equine osteochondrosis and fetlock osteochondral fragments
Background Equine osteochondrosis (OC) and fetlock osteochondral fragments are prevalent developmental joint disorders caused by failure of the growing skeleton, often leading to intra-articular fragments that require arthroscopic surgery and impose substantial economic and animal welfare burdens. To reduce prevalence, phenotype-based selection has been performed but with limited success, prompting interest in genomic approaches.
Compilation of flume experiments on contraction scour
Published August 28, 2026 | Version v2 The dataset compiles flume experiments on contraction scour reported in the literature. Data that were previously published only as tables within individual articles have been collected and standardized into a uniform format. The objective is to improve open access to experimental results that are already available in published studies. The tab "Database" contain the compile dataset of previous studies.
Comparison of three Mycoplasma bovis antibody ELISAs on serum from 3-5-week-old dairy calves using Bayesian latent class analysis
Background Controlling Mycoplasma bovis is challenging in veal and dairy beef systems that source young calves from multiple origins. Pre‑purchase testing may help reduce pathogen introduction, with serology being the most accessible option. Additionally, given current EFSA recommendations to increase the minimum transport age to five weeks, this period represents the relevant time frame for pre‑purchase examination.
Late Recurrence of Mucinous Adenocarcinoma after Lung Transplantation: A Case Report and Literature Review
Keywords: Mucinous adenocarcinoma, Lung transplantation, Case report Invasive mucinous adenocarcinoma (IMA) is a distinct lung tumor subtype that features goblet and/or columnar tumor cells with abundant intracytoplasmic mucin. It often exhibits multicentric and bilateral lung involvement, potentially reflecting aerogenous spreading. Multifocal cases involving multiple lung lobes present treatment challenges.

The implosion of the Dutch surveillance welfare state
1 INTRODUCTION On 15 January 2021, the Dutch cabinet led by prime minister Mark Rutte resigned in response to the highly critical report from the Parliamentary Investigation Committee Child Care Allowances. In its report ‘Unknown Injustice’, this committee concluded that the Dutch government had violated the foundational principles of the rule of law through the way suspected fraudsters with childcare allowances had been treated.
Abomasitis associated with halofuginone intoxication in pre-weaned calves - BMC Veterinary Research
Between the end of March and beginning of April 2021, seven Belgian-Blue beef calves were presented at the clinic of Large Animal Internal Medicine of Ghent University (Belgium) with complaints of anorexia and subsequent weight loss. The animals originated from a closed Belgian Blue beef farm (approximately 100 animals). All calves are individually kept on straw in igloos after birth. The farm has an all year calving pattern, although the calving density can vary throughout the year.
Going beyond the ‘typical’ student? Voicing diversity of experience through biographical encounters with migrant students in Portugal
Comparative Migration Studies, Aug 2023 Research on international student migration has been burgeoning, leading to a more nuanced understanding of international students whose experiences were, for many years, conceptualised in a rather limited way. In this paper, we aim to advance understanding of the diversity and complexity of student migrants’ experiences, by proposing a new interpretive framework, developed through narrative enquiry.
