A comprehensive, multi-center, immunogenomic analysis of melanoma brain metastases - Acta Neuropathologica Communications
A previously published dataset (available from EGA: EGAD00001005046) from MDACC based on 82 patients was obtained through a data transfer agreement. It includes RNAseq on surgically resected, FFPE MBM (88 tumor samples (m) from 74 patients (n)) and surgically resected ECM from an overlapping set of patients (hereafter “MDACC dataset”, Fig. 1) [18].
Genomic and immune profiling of breast cancer brain metastases - Acta Neuropathologica Communications
The cohort includes 42 patients with MBC who underwent craniotomy at Duke University Hospital for standard of care BCBrM resection between 1988 and 2019 who also had available frozen and/or FFPE BCBrM tissue for sequencing (Table 1, Additional file 1: Supplementary Fig. S1).

Brain metastasis as the first and only metastatic relapse site portends worse survival in patients with advanced HER2 + breast cancer - Breast Cancer Research and Treatment
Abstract Purpose Current systemic therapy guidelines for patients with HER2 + breast cancer brain metastases (BCBrM) diverge based on the status of extracranial disease (ECD). An in-depth understanding of the impact of ECD on outcomes in HER2 + BCBrM has never been performed. Our study explores the implications of ECD status on intracranial progression-free survival (iPFS) and overall survival (OS) after first incidence of HER2 + BCBrM and radiation.
