The Casting Society of America (CSA) has announced its list of honorees and nominees to be recognized at the 33rd Annual Artios Awards, taking place on January 18, 2018, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles & Stage 48 in New York City. The Artios Awards are given to CSA members using the criteria of originality, creativity and contribution of casting to the overall quality of a project.
Tucked within Whiteman Park in the Swan Valley about half an hour's drive from Perth is the Caversham Wildlife Park. Having no clear memory of ever having visited when I was growing up in Perth (it was much smaller and located elsewhere), I was looking forward to finally visiting the park in its Whiteman Park location. As a full day out it's a great one as you have the option of taking in the animals at Caversham then exploring Whiteman Park as well.
Get up close with your furry and feathered friends. Caversham is situated out in Whiteman Park and an easy drive from Perth or Fremantle. However I would not suggest taking the bus as it is a very long walk to the park entrance from the bus stop! The park has multiple attractions, including a walk-in kangaroo enclosure, sheep sheering and a koala pen, giving ample photo opportunities and up close interactions.
