I preferred pitches that are related to my specific area of expertise, but I'll take any story that seems interesting.

Because I wanted to use my passion for writing in a helpful way.

I didn't. My high school newspaper was lame.

The story I'm most proud of writing is a piece I did on the first American troupe to perform at a major theater in Beijing.
