My name is Dr. Victor Hebert. I lived in Fayetteville for 24 years (1984-2008) and served as a professor at Fayetteville State University. In visiting Fayetteville, North Carolina, this past week, I noticed a $97 million Bond issue on the ballot for the upcoming November election. This Bond issue is a heist perpetrated in the Fayetteville Black community. 98% or 99% of this money will mainly go into White pockets.
CONWAY, SC Victor Herbert Sorensen, age 97, of Conway, SC, died June 28, 2016. A proud member of the Greatest Generation, Sorensen was among its last, dwindling lights. A decorated Army Air Forces veteran, he flew 50 combat missions over Europe, earning a Bronze Star with four Oak Leaf clusters. After the war, Sorensen served honorably in the Air Force Reserves until his retirement from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
