Vincent Ruhl is a German composer for film and media, with an academic background in Film Scoring (Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg) and Sound and Music Production (Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences).
His approach to composing always begins with the story. Whether it’s a feature film, documentary, or commercial, his goal is to enhance the emotional arc through sound —inviting the audience deeper into the narrative. His work spans a wide range of styles, from rich orchestral and experimental electronic scores to minimal, finely detailed compositions.
Since 2019, Vincent has worked professionally as a composer and producer, drawing on over a decade of musical training and experience as a musician, producer and musical director. He’s also held internships at institutions such as the Audiodrive Studio and the Opera Frankfurt, and led a variety of ensembles over the years.
In addition to his film scores, he has composed music for commercials that have reached over 10 million streams across TV, radio, cinema, and online. He regularly collaborates with both German and international artists, including EALA and Phantom Head, on a wide range of creative projects.
Vincent’s music has been recognized with numerous award nominations and wins, including honors at the Biennale Frankfurt, Kasseler Dokfest, and the Capri Hollywood International Film Festival. Recent projects such as Tremolo and Eines Künstlers Weglein have received accolades across categories like Best Feature Film and Best Short Film.
