Survey across 7 countries finds over a third know little or nothing about Holocaust, while 32% say Jews use genocide’s memory to advance their interests. Yes, that is true, we the Jews have too much influence in the world, as compared to many other nations, and we are using the memory of Holocaust to advance our interests.

Back to the very essence of being Jewish
I do not understand the fear expressed by many Jewish authorities that some Jews may stop worshiping at synagogues and collaborating with any of Jewish organizations, and even begin associating themselves with other religions. This fear is justified only if the Torah and Judaism are understood as the foundation for only the religious rituals and way of life that separate the Jews from the others.

Although there is no agreement among the Jews on how to tailor the Torah to our modern life, our Jewish majority somehow (most probably genetically) have the Jewish morality guidance at heart as something from the “Above” for everybody to follow. Why it is so and why the science plays here the major role is explained below.

Nowadays the most common social/political weapon is the social labels which are being thrown against political/social adversaries. Among those labels are racism, Nazism, white privilege, and many others. The labels’ creators believe that the labels may politically kill a political adversary and bring a political victory. It may well be so, but such a victory deepens social divisiveness and makes impossible social reconciliation.

Yes, that is true – many Israeli Jews live by Judaism without synagogues and rabbis, and that is what I have discovered this year in my visits in Israel. Of course, there are truly Orthodox Jews in Israel for whom their synagogue, their rabbi, and daily Torah studies are the most important part of their Judaism and Jewish life in Israel. However, they are in minority in Israel.
