The Band Of Gypsys 1970
DUDE! Thanks so much for this! Usually studio compilations are like, half a dozen versions of Cherokee Mist, or some run of the mill stuff that I have heard many times before. Most of this is stuff I have never heard before. Some of it I have heard on other compilations...though only snippets of what is on this disc. The first two jams are just Jimi & Buddy Miles. And what a jam the first track is! 36 minutes long! Hendrix plays some amazing stuff! Track 3 and 4 are Jimi, Buddy, and Billy Cox.

Santana - 1973-02-14 - The Arena - St. Louis, MO (Previously Unreleased Low Generation Soundboard)
THX for sharing. LOVING all of this 1973 material . . . . . IMHO, 1972-74 was the musical high mark for Santana - Caravanserai, Welcome, Love Devotion Surrender, Borboletta and Illuminations. Those albums get constant rotation in my home. . . . . . generally liked all the other material but the t1972-74 period seemed to have a more spiritual aspect (ie, very John Coltrane, Pharaoh Sanders like)

A lot of this was bootlegged on CD but those were taken from different sources. Thought I'd dig through my vaults and post a brand new upgrade, seeing as it was Miles' birthday yesterday. I've never seen these circulate in any in-tune editions that I could find elsewhere. Hooligan3244 posted the source of this set a few years ago. Pulling it out to listen to yesterday led me to discover that these tracks needed some real love and affection to coax them back into shape. I've done my best to give that effort a good head start here.
