Abstract P94: Cross-Talk of Hepatic Innate Immune Cells in Maintaining Liver Health and Shaping Metastatic Susceptibility Free
Up to 50% of patients undergoing treatment for malignancies develop liver metastases during the course of their disease. In the United States and Europe, liver metastases are more prevalent than primary liver cancer. Tissue-resident immune cells are pivotal regulators of the local microenvironment, with macrophages playing fundamental roles in tumour initiation and progression.

Patients with chronic heart failure and predominant left atrial versus left ventricular myopathy - Cardiovascular Ultrasound
Abstract Left atrial (LA) and ventricular (LV) functional impairment often co-exist in patients with heart failure (HF). However, some patients with HF have a disproportionate LA or LV dysfunction. We aimed to characterize patients with predominant LA and LV myopathy in a cohort of patients with chronic HF across the spectrum of LV ejection fraction (LVEF).
Patients with chronic heart failure and predominant left atrial versus left ventricular myopathy - Cardiovascular Ultrasound
Previously, details of the study design, criteria for the enrollment and selection of patients have been published [8, 9]. Briefly, the current study included a total of 469 patients with chronic HF from a nationwide, prospective, multi-center, observational HF study. Of these 469 patients, 95 patients were excluded due to ineligible DICOM format echocardiographic files for post-offline analysis or because LA reservoir or LVGLS to define the LA/LV myopathy phenotypes could not be obtained.

A comprehensive population-based characterization of heart failure with mid-range ejection fraction
In the Swedish Heart Failure Registry, we assessed the association between baseline characteristics and EF group using multivariable logistic regressions, and the association between EF group and all-cause mortality using multivariable Cox regressions. Of 42 061 patients, 56% had HFrEF, 21% had HFmrEF, and 23% had HFpEF. Characteristics were continuous for age (72?±?12 vs. 74?±?12 vs. 77?±?11?years), proportion of women (29% vs. 39% vs. 55%), and 13 other characteristics.
