AI offers quick answers and saves time, but blindly trusting its output can be risky. Chinese university students are increasingly aware that AI has biases, hallucinations and even hidden ads. Relying on AI for homework, job hunting or relationships without critical thinking may lead to false information, shallow communication or even fraud. Experts warn that AI should remain a tool, not a substitute for judgment.
A China Youth Daily survey of 8,122 students found 84.44% secured internships as freshmen/sophomores. Motivations include exploring careers (70.77%) and gaining experience (60.03%). While early internships help clarify professional goals, experts caution against prioritizing quantity over depth. Challenges include limited core-task access (65.17%) and balancing academics (45.49%).
