SRSF3 determines T reg cell fate in antitumor immunity and autoimmunity
Abstract INTRODUCTION RESULTS DISCUSSION MATERIALS AND METHODS Acknowledgments Supplementary Materials REFERENCES Information & Authors Metrics & Citations View Options References Figures Tables Media Share Abstract Human FOXP3 shows two isoforms due to exon 2 skipping, and the exon 2 is critical for FOXP3 function in Treg cells. However, the factor(s) regulating its splicing remain unknown.
Inhibition of circulating glycocholic acid-regulated signaling potentiates immune checkpoint therapy in colorectal cancer
Abstract Serum bile acids (BAs) emerge as risk factors for cancer, but their roles in colorectal cancer (CRC) remain unclear. We show that glycocholic acid (GCA), a primary BA, is elevated in the serum of CRC patients. In a mouse CRC model, GCA promotes tumor programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) expression in tumors, suppressing CD8⁺ T cell-mediated antitumor immunity and facilitating tumor growth.
High fructose consumption aggravates inflammation by promoting effector T cell generation via inducing metabolic reprogramming - Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy
Abstract The intake of sugars, especially glucose and fructose, has significantly increased with the change of lifestyle. Excessive intake of sugar has been proven to be associated with tumors and inflammatory diseases. Fructose directly mediates innate immune responses; however, whether it can directly regulate T-cell immunity remains unknown.
Regulatory T cell therapy promotes TGF-β and IL-6-dependent pro-inflammatory Th17 cell generation by reducing IL-2 - Nature Communications
Abstract CD4+Foxp3+ regulatory T cells are essential for maintaining immune tolerance and preventing excessive inflammation, making them promising candidates for treating autoimmunity and GvHD. However, the translation of regulatory T cell therapy into clinical practice poses substantial challenges.
Frontiers | Factors associated with commercial sexual activities among students engaging in casual heterosexual behaviors: a cross-sectional study in Zhejiang Province
1 Introduction Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) is a systemic disease owing to human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection (1) that can induce varying degrees of immune deficiency in individuals. Untreated patients are vulnerable to severe infections and malignancies, leading to fatal outcomes (2, 3).

Diagnosis of female urethral cancer based on multimodal ultrasound: a | IJWH
Introduction Female urethral cancer is an exceedingly rare malignancy, constituting approximately 0.02% of all female malignant tumors and 0.003% of malignant tumors in the female genitourinary system.1,2 The histological types include urothelial carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and adenocarcinoma. Primary urethral adenocarcinoma presents with non-specific clinical symptoms, often leading to advanced-stage diagnosis and a relatively poor prognosis compared to other histological types.

Criticality and Neuromorphic Sensing in a Single Memristor
Resistive random access memory (RRAM) is an important technology for both data storage and neuromorphic computation, where the dynamics of nanoscale conductive filaments lies at the core of the technology. Here, we analyze the current noise of various silicon-based memristors that involves the creation of a percolation path at the intermediate phase of filament growth.

T Regulatory Cells and Priming the Suppressive Tumor Microenvironment
Introduction Natural Treg (nTreg), induced by self-antigens in the thymus, home to sites of tumors, while iTreg, induced by antigens in the periphery, are created as a result of a specific cytokine milieu of the TME. Tregs are a subset of CD4+ T cells that are distinguished from immune cells through expression of Forkhead box protein 3 (FoxP3) transcription factor. FoxP3 stabilizes the suppressive phenotype and capabilities of Treg.
