Decarboxylative sulfoximination of benzoic acids enabled by photoinduced ligand-to-copper charge transfer
Decarboxylative sulfoximination of benzoic acids enabled by photoinduced ligand-to-copper charge transfer† Peng Xu,a Wanqi Suab and Tobias Ritter *a Abstract Sulfoximines are synthetically important scaffolds and serve important roles in drug discovery.
Decarboxylative Hydroxylation of Benzoic Acids
Abstract Herein, the first decarboxylative hydroxylation reaction to synthesize phenols from benzoic acids is reported. The method overcomes the challenges associated with conventional decarboxylation of benzoic acids and can be applied even for the late-stage functionalization. Abstract Herein, we report the first decarboxylative hydroxylation to synthesize phenols from benzoic acids at 35 °C via photoinduced ligand-to-metal charge transfer (LMCT)-enabled radical decarboxylative carbometalation.
Encapsulated DNase Improving the Killing Efficiency of Antibiotics in Staphylococcal Biofilms
Encapsulated DNase Improving the Killing Efficiency of Antibiotics in Staphylococcal Biofilms We developed a polymer-encapsulated DNase, n(DNase), which can efficiently accumulate in biofilm and expose the DNase to cleave the eDNA of biofilm. CLSM and crystal violet results demonstrated an effective biofilm disintegration (92.2%) when treated with n(DNase).
