1 Introduction Maritime transportation plays a crucial role in international trade (Cret et al., 2024), however, inevitably produces a large amount of greenhouse gases (GHGs), which bring serious harm to the global environment. According to statistics provided by the International Maritime Organization (IMO), carbon dioxide (CO2) emitted from ships was about 1 billion tons in 2018, which is equivalent to about 2.9% of the cumulative global CO2 emissions.
