Writing for an office newsletter

Yes, of course! I am older than dirt!
How is social media changing news?
In some ways it is cheapening it and in some ways it is challenging it to work harder to find what is news as opposed to the trend.

What does it mean to be a journalist?
A journalist strives to bring ideas and events to public awareness that was generally untold or to retell with new, unique insights & Issues.
What's the funniest news-related #hashtag you've seen?
I couldn't say what it was but it was furry and just ran across the screen telling jokes and then disappeared in a poof of smoke.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
I prefer to be pitched on stories that are interesting, unique, or can be covered from a new and interesting angle. Tell me what makes it so.

Why did you become a journalist?
Too many stories go untold while the press in general focuses on what is "trending" in order to produce commercially worthy material.
