Abstract Phytochemical investigation on roots extract of Leuzea uniflora (L.) Holub led to the isolation of two novel ecdysteroids, 11α-hydroxy-25R-inokosterone (1) and 11α-hydroxy-24R, 25 R-amarasterone A (2), along with 20 known constituents. The structures of novel compounds were confirmed by NMR and ECD spectroscopy. Compounds 2 and 9 exhibited anticomplementary activity with classical pathway, their CH50 values were 138.4 ± 0.07 µg·mL−1 and 158.3 ± 0.09 µg·mL−1, respectively.
