CAE today announced that CAE Defense & Security USA has been awarded a contract by the United States Navy under a U.S. Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program to provide two training devices and support of training MH-60R Seahawk helicopter pilots and mission crew to the Indian Navy.

CAE announced that its SkyAlyne joint venture was today awarded a C$11.2 billion, 25-year contract for Canada’s Future Aircrew Training (FAcT) Program. “CAE has proudly worked alongside the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) for more than 75 years to design and deliver training, services, and technologies that support the mission readiness of Canada’s aviators,” said Marc Parent, CAE’s President and Chief Executive Officer.

CAE Inc. today announced changes to its Defense & Security business unit’s leadership team. Jason Goodfriend has been appointed Interim Group President, Defense & Security, effective immediately. Mr. Goodfriend replaces Daniel Gelston, who will remain at CAE in a supporting capacity through May 2024. CAE thanks Mr. Gelston for his vision, leadership and many accomplishments and wishes him well in his future endeavours.

CAE GmbH has delivered a fully equipped NH90 training centre to the German Navy during an official ceremony at the facility. Members of the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA), Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support (BAAINBw), Naval Command, Naval Support Command and local government officials joined the event to celebrate the hand-over and start of operations at the state-of-the-art training centre supporting naval aviators and crew.
