Dual-filter IPL vs. LED phototherapy combined with systemic therapy for moderate-to-severe acne in Asian patients
1Department of Dermatology, Soochow University, Suzhou, China 2Department of Dermatology, Anhui Medical University, Hefei, China Background: Intense pulsed light (IPL) is a promising treatment method for acne vulgaris. However, no studies have directly compared IPL with light-emitting diode (LED) phototherapy when used as adjuncts to systemic doxycycline or isotretinoin in acne treatment. Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of IPL vs.
Full article: Observational study on postoperative JAK inhibitor and corticosteroid therapy following non-cultured epidermal cell suspension transplantation in stable vitiligo patients
Abstract Objective To compare the efficacy and safety of oral corticosteroids and JAK inhibitors as adjunctive treatments following non-cultured epidermal cell suspension (NCES) transplantation in patients with stable vitiligo. Methods Data were collected from 12 patients with stable vitiligo who underwent NCES transplantation at the Fourth Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University between June 2023 and December 2024.

Electronic Structure Optimization of Metal-Phthalocyanine via Confining Atomic Ru for All-pH Hydrogen Evolution
Electronic Structure Optimization of Metal-Phthalocyanine via Confining Atomic Ru for All-pH Hydrogen Evolution The eco-friendly production of hydrogen in actual working conditions is a promising method to address the energy crisis. However, the lack of an effective proton source and the sluggish electrolyzed water process have resulted in a large kinetics difference in hydrogen evolution at different pH conditions.

Accelerating Industrial-level CO2 Electroreduction Kinetics on Isolated Zinc Centers via Sulfur-boosting Bicarbonate Dissociation
Accelerating Industrial-level CO2 Electroreduction Kinetics on Isolated Zinc Centers via Sulfur-boosting Bicarbonate Dissociation Wanzhen Zheng, Dashuai Wang, Wenjun Cui, Xiahan Sang, Xuetao Qin, Zilin Zhao, Zhongjian Li, Bin Yang, Miao Zhong, Lecheng Lei, Qiang Zheng, Siyu Yao, Gang Wu and Yang Hou Abstract Improving the proton transfer rate in proton-coupled electron transfer process is the key to accelerating the reaction kinetics of CO2 electroreduction (CO2ER).
Accelerated Transfer and Spillover of Carbon Monoxide through Tandem Catalysis for Kinetics‐boosted Ethylene Electrosynthesis
Graphical Abstract A unique *CO transfer and spillover strategy was developed by fabricating Ni single atom supported on pyridinic N-enriched carbon as a *CO donor for feeding Cu NPs with *CO, boosting the coverage of *CO on Cu NPs and subsequently improving the selectivity for CO2-C2H4 conversion. Abstract Cu-based catalysts have been widely applied in electroreduction of carbon dioxide (CO2ER) to produce multicarbon (C2+) feedstocks (e.g., C2H4).
Boosting Industrial‐Level CO2 Electroreduction of N‐Doped Carbon Nanofibers with Confined Tin‐Nitrogen Active Sites via Accelerating Proton Transport Kinetics
Abstract The development of highly efficient robust electrocatalysts with low overpotential and industrial-level current density is of great significance for CO2 electroreduction (CO2ER), however the low proton transport rate during the CO2ER remains a challenge. Herein, a porous N-doped carbon nanofiber confined with tin-nitrogen sites (Sn/NCNFs) catalyst is developed, which is prepared through an integrated electrospinning and pyrolysis strategy.
Electrochemical activation induced multi-valence variation of (NH4)2V4O9 as high-performance cathode material for zinc-ion batteries
Electrochemical activation induced multi-valence variation of (NH4)2V4O9 as high-performance cathode material for zinc-ion batteries In this paper, we found that (NH4)2V4O9 undergo an electrochemical activation process in the first charging process at ~1.4 V (vs. Zn2+/Zn), leading to a significant improvement of capacity and cycling stability.
