What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Hustle hard. This industry isn't easy. It takes thick-skin and passion. If you don't really love it, you won't be able to fake it.

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?

On my phone looking for potential stories and monitoring social media for content.

What's the most common misperception about your beat?

That I can't write legal stories. I've had years of experience reading through lawsuits and transcripts for TMZ.
