Out to Lunch: A New "No-Fly Zone" in Baltimore?
Good afternoon, Ravens Flock, and a happy Wednesday to you all! Our Baltimore Ravens have been extra busy over the last week, and it obviously has Twitter in all sorts of moods about it all! Between a reuniting of player and team and a splashy addition to the defense, fans have been in a very good mood since last we chatted, and for good reason, too. What is everyone clamoring about on the Twitter-sphere? Let’s not dilly dally any longer on a special Wednesday edition of Out to Lunch.
Bateman Ready to Be The Man
The Ravens apparently have the confidence Rashod Bateman is ready to embrace the role as the team’s No 1 wide receiver. Otherwise, they would’ve never traded Marquise Brown to the Arizona Cardinals during the NFL draft. Bateman is not backing down from the expectations surrounding him this season. In fact, he’s embracing the challenge. “I feel like Baltimore drafted me for a reason,” Bateman told cornerback Marlon Humphrey on ” Studio 44.” They drafted me to be in this position.
Kyle Fuller Brings Depth & Potential Big Upside
The Baltimore Ravens have agreed to a deal with free-agent cornerback, Kyle Fuller. This is a move that would have felt a lot more exciting a couple of years ago. The two-time Pro Bowl player had seven interceptions in the 2018 season. While it would be more exciting to get that version of Fuller, than the player who had an up and down 2021cwith the Denver Broncos, it’s still a move Ravens fans can be excited about.

The hot-button topic on everyone’s minds is seeing what the Ravens do with their pass-catching group this coming season, and all eyes are on Rashod Bateman as he assumes the role as the #1 wide receiver.
Out to Lunch: Ravens Go to Preakness, Urban Returns
Ronald Toothe Ronald Toothe has been a supporter of the Baltimore Ravens for 20+ years, and has been covering the team since 2020. From the moment he saw a pass tip off the hands of Eddie George into the waiting arms of Ray Lewis during the 2000 playoffs, he knew he was hooked for life. Ronald began his career in sports media behind the microphone as a professional wrestling color commentator before taking a similar role during football games at his high school alma mater.
#RavensFlock Needs to Look at the Calendar & Relax
The Baltimore Ravens were perhaps the most injury-riddled team in the NFL in 2021. The team lost All-Pro players like Ronnie Stanley, Marcus Peters, Marlon Humphrey, and eventually Lamar Jackson, not to mention the countless other players who suffered significant injuries throughout the season. It was a tough campaign for a Ravens team that had championship aspirations. Headed into the 2022 offseason, the team had many holes triggered by a lack of depth and a plethora of lost free agents.
