Buck Rogers Reboot (TBC)
#1 Paul W.S. Anderson to relaunch Buck Rogers Two years ago Frank Miller was the man to bring a edgier Buck Rogers back to the big screen, that has been not been heard of since. Today comes news that director Paul W.S. Anderson (Death Race, Resident Evil) from a screenplay by "Iron Man" co-writers Art Marcum and Matt Holloway are the people to do it for Paradox Entertainment.
Bioshock The Movie (Netflix TBC)
#1 Pirates of the Caribbean's Gore Verbinski set to direct the movie based on the game, early days the script is not written, so thats that Update - see post #15 for new director Should make for an interesting film, lets hope Disney is not involved, otherwise it will be a family film. Game trailer - Caution viewer discretion advised.
Does anyone else ever fall to sleep during films?
Pecker Distinguished Member #1 It happend again last night. It's usually a result of a combination of: - Long film; - Late start; - Bottle of wine. I tend to find it's worse in the Summer as, due to it staying light for longer, we don't start watching until later. And I've often had a couple of beers whilst barbecuing. And a bottle of wine whilst eating the barbecue.
Diane Abbot
seacam Prominent Member #1 I have never been a great admirer of Diane Abbot, her policies or views but was it really necessary to suspend her as a Labour MP? I suppose I have to do a bit of emoting here in case some might wish to turn my post in to something it isn't. It is clear to most Jews suffered monstrously, appallingly, use whatever noun, pro-noun, adjective, adverb to describe their suffering, none will really do to explain the sometimes unfathomable horror that be-felled them as a race.
CyberPunk 2077 - 10 December 2020
Our Year Outstanding Member #1 CD Projekt RED were spotted looking for new recruits to work on an entirely new and different RPG recently. A list of job roles next to an icon of a gun was all we had to go on, until now. Blues News have a teaser image trailing a big reveal at CD Projekt REDs summer conference tomorrow. It will be live streamed on CD Projekts Facebook page and The Witcher site at 5pm GMT / 10am PST / 1pm EST. The teaser image has a powerful whiff of William Gibson to it.
Nvidia Geforce Beyond Countdown (RTX 4000 or something else!)
Delvey Distinguished Member #1 So, the new 4 series cards are supposedly around the corner offering a substantial performance improvement. I doubt with the current economic conditions they can charge a huge amount but who knows. NVIDIA RTX 4090/4080/4070 3DMark performance Hardware leaker Kopite7kimi now claims to know the performance of upcoming GeForce RTX 40 series. According to the user, RTX 4080 and RTX 4070 would both score higher than 10K in 3DMark TimeSpy Extreme test.
Movies broadcast on channels being edited for any violent content
#1 Wasn't sure where to post this but has anyone else noticed an increase in editing of movies (and some TV shows) for any violence and even innuendo? Couple of examples I could state would be Volcano was on STV (I think) last night and one scene completely cut. The scene where the railtrack guys rescue the disabled metro car. The last guy comes to the door with the driver and jumps into the lava, throwing the driver to safety.
Question - Connecting Lg Spk8 rear speakers
#1 I've got an LG sl8yg soundbar and just picked up the rear speakers (spk8). However, cannot work out why they don't appear to want to connect to soundbar The green light on receiver flashes quickly constantly. No change clicking the pair button Also tried powering off both receiver and soundbar then switching back on but still same flashing green light. I was under the impression they should just connect straight away Any ideas?

Discussion in 'PC Gaming & Rigs' started by WildeKarde, Dec 4, 2016. Just seen they had announced this for a 2018 release. The pre alpha video looks not too bad - might be a decent game: <iframe width="560" height="315" src=" MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries Pre-Alpha Footage... " frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> PC: Intel i7 5820k, Asus x99 Deluxe, Corsair H110GTX, 16gb Corsair LPX DDR4, 250gb Samsung 850 Pro SSD, 2 x 3TB WD Black HDD, Superflower 850w Platinum, MSI Gaming Z 2070, Corsair 780T.
the hitman and her uk tv show 1988-92
#1 anyone got any hitman and her videos thanks #2 I'd seriously worry about the sanity of anyone who would have taped this and kept any copies. #3 Thats just what i was gonna say Why would you want them? Its ups and downs ups and downs! #4 Talk about a blast from the past,Michaela Strachan was the only good thing about this show. I'd love to know what you want with em'.
What games are you currently playing?
Razor Outstanding Member #1 So what games are you currently playing and enjoying? Here are mine: Denfese Grid - I tend to have a quick blast on this game on most days. Its so addictive. Red Faction Guerilla - This is turning into a great game, the environment is totally destructible and there are plenty of enemies around to kill. Crackdown 2 (xbox 360) - I loved the first game and this is no different.
Elite Dangerous
#1 Well given he (David Braben) is the father of all space sims (would that make Ian Bell its mother?) I thought it only fair to sign up for ED seeing as I had already pledged to Star Citizen. Truth is I wanted the pack which came with all future DLC, but it is xmas and I simply cannot afford another £80 at the moment, so I went for the same level of pack as for SC (albeit £10 cheaper). The Digital Bounty hunter.
