Introduction Stunting is defined as being short in stature according to age. The cause of stunting is the unfulfillment of nutrient requirements for growth over an extended period, specifically between conception through the first 24 months of life (Bloem et al., 2013). Although the direct cause of stunting is easily understood, the risk factors are complicated, such as illness, infant feeding method, hygiene and sanitation, and clean water accessibility (Rosyati et al., 2018).
