How is social media changing news?
Social Media has changed the news cycle because it has made stories become more immediate but has also led to an increase in disinformation.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
I use Microsoft Word to write articles and type up questions and answers that I receive when taking interviews from Zoom or Phone Calls.
What's your favorite social network?
For Journalistic purposes, I like using Facebook because it allows me to find local events that are occurring which I can report on.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Be willing to take on any story that comes your way even if it isn't of particular interest to you, it will make you a better journalist.
What's the best pitch you ever got?
The best pitch that I ever got was a story relating to a new journalism school opening in Beckenham.
