Will Gore’s Biography
I am currently Head of Partnerships & Projects at the National Council for the Training of Journalists.
Prior to that I was Executive Editor at The Independent, and I still write a weekly column for the Indy which is focused on ideas about place and pathway.
When I was at The Independent full-time I wrote regular analysis and commentary across a wide range of subjects, including the media, politics and cricket. From 2011-2017 I was deputy managing editor across The Independent titles (including i) and the Evening Standard. I was a leader writer for both the Standard and the Indy, and I reviewed books for the Independent on Sunday.
Before moving into editorial roles, I held senior positions at the Press Complaints Commission.
