UAV hyperspectral estimation of Suaeda salsa carotenoid content and response to soil water-salinity stress in degraded coastal wetlands following Spartina alterniflora removal
ABSTRACT Carotenoids play a crucial role as accessory pigments in plant photosynthesis and are closely associated with physiological responses to environmental stress. Accurate, rapid, and non-destructive retrieval of carotenoid content (Car) and characterization of its spatial distribution are essential for understanding vegetation physiological status and its responses to environmental stress. In this study, Suaeda salsa (S.

Harmonized sodium coordination engineering for high-energy phosphate cathodes
Abstract Fe-based polyanionic cathodes are promising for large-scale Na-ion batteries owing to their stability, safety and elemental abundance, however their capacity remains limited by electrochemically inactive Na sites and irreversible Na loss. Here we identify that the Na+ coordination environment critically influences the Na-site accessibility and redox activity in Na4Fe3(PO4)2P2O7-type cathodes.

Ultra‐High Temperature Operated Ni‐rich Cathode Stabilized by Thermal Barrier for High‐Energy Lithium‐Ion Batteries
The pursuit of high energy density batteries has expedited the fast development of Ni-rich cathodes. However, the chemo-mechanical degradation induced by local thermal accumulation and anisotropic lattice strain is posing great obstacles for its wide applications. Herein, we firstly report a highly-antioxidative BaZrO3 thermal barrier engineered LiNi0.8Co0.1Mn0.1O2 cathode through an In-situ construction strategy to circumvent the above issues.

Optimization Study of Inert Gas Distribution for Multiple-Bay Fuel Tank
Abstract : Inert gas distribution has a great influence on the inerting effect, especially for the multiple-bay fuel tank. In order to find out the optimal scheme, an optimization method based on the entropy-weight improvement TOPSIS method is proposed, and an experimental system of inert gas distribution is established to measure the speed index and uniformity index. The results show that the position of the inlet and outlet has a significant effect on the overall inerting effect.

Therefore, the Yellow River estuary has become an important place for the feeding, reproduction, and development of a variety of marine economic species, and its neighboring Laizhou Bay is an important fishing ground in the Bohai Sea.
China's strategic engines for modernization
The competitions with developed countries have become increasingly fierce, meaning it might be difficult for China to solicit aid from the outside world. In fact, even the normal exchange and communication in the fields of science and technology are encountering obstruction, as we have been seeing certain countries' discriminatory policies against Chinese corporations. The realities have left China with no alternative but to rely on scientific and technological innovation.
