1 Introduction Throughout the human lifespan, bone development, growth, repair, and remodeling are critical physiological processes that play a decisive role in maintaining skeletal health and normal function. The proper execution of these processes relies on the coordinated actions of multiple cell types, among which intricate interactions exist between the bone vascular system and cells such as osteoblasts and osteoclasts (Salhotra et al., 2020).
1 INTRODUCTION Pentatomidae, the largest family in the superfamily Pentatomoidea, comprising approximately 5000 known species belonging to over 900 genera, is widely distributed worldwide (Grazia et al., 2015; Rider et al., 2018). Most Pentatomidae species are phytophagous and feed on the fluids of their host plants, thereby causing huge losses to economic crops. Abstract The study was aimed to determine the relationship between PLR (platelet to lymphocyte ratio) and the lateral pillar classification of Perthes disease, and to provide an alternative index for clinical diagnosis. In addition, the association of the PLR with the necrosis stage of Perthes disease was also explored. This was a retrospective study.
