Abstract Groundwater-level fluctuations can induce differential deformation at ground-fissure sites, yet systematic experimental investigations of hydraulic and layered deformation responses across fissures during pumping-recharge remain limited. This study focuses on the F4 ground-fissure area in Yuhuazhai, Xi’an, and employs a large-scale physical model to investigate hydro-mechanical responses under layered groundwater pumping-recharge conditions.
Abstract Nodal-line semimetals provide the opportunity to explore exotic properties owing to their nontrivial band structures. Here, the structural and electronic properties of nodal-line semimetal candidate CaCdGe were systematically investigated under pressure up to 53.3 GPa through synchrotron x-ray diffraction, Raman scattering, electrical transport measurements, and theoretical calculations.
Abstract AVBVICVII (A=Bi, Sb; B=S, Se; C=I, Br) semiconductors are promising materials in photoelectric applications and exhibit high tunability of electronic properties. Here, we systematically study the electrical transport, structural, and vibrational properties of photoelectric semiconductor BiSeI at high pressure.
Skeletons are formed through two distinct developmental actions, intramembranous ossification and endochondral ossification. During embryonic development, most bone is formed by endochondral ossification. The growth plate is the developmental center for endochondral ossification. Multiple signaling pathways participate in the regulation of endochondral ossification.
