The coupled reanalysis global meridional overturning circulation imprinted by historic volcanic eruptions
|
Abstract The global ocean meridional overturning circulation (GMOC) is central for ocean transport and climate variations. However, a comprehensive picture of its historical mean state and variability remains vague due to limitations in modelling and observing systems. Incorporating observations into models offers a viable approach to reconstructing climate history, yet achieving coherent estimates of GMOC has proven challenging due to difficulties in harmonizing ocean stratification.

Mixed-Lanthanide Metal–Organic Frameworks for Near-Infrared-I Bioimaging and Near-Infrared-III Four-Photon Upconversion Click to copy article link Article link copied!
Abstract Click to copy section linkSection link copied! Lanthanide-based metal–organic frameworks (Ln-MOFs) provide a structurally precise platform for upconversion luminescence engineering, yet practical applications are limited by insufficient structural stability, restricted color tunability, and the lack of excitation in the NIR-III window. Here, we report a MOF incorporating mixed-lanthanide Yb3+, Tb3+, and Eu3+ ions that addresses these challenges.
Chromosome-level genome assembly of Siberian kale (Brassica napus subsp. pabularia) - Scientific Data
Abstract Siberian kale (Brassica napus subsp. pabularia, AACC, 2n = 38) is a distinct subspecies of B. napus, characterized by its deeply lobed leaves and primarily cultivated as a nutritious leafy vegetable. Here, we present a chromosome-level genome of Beta, a Siberian kale variety, integrating Illumina short reads, PacBio HiFi long reads, and Hi-C data. The final assembly size is 1,078.8 Mb, with a scaffold N50 of 57.5 Mb and a genome BUSCO completeness of 99.7%.

Comprehensive risk stratification for adult T‐cell lymphoblastic lymphoma undergoing allogeneic haematopoietic stem cell transplantation
INTRODUCTION T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma (T-LBL), a precursor T-cell malignancy, is characterized by male predominance and a frequent mediastinal mass.1 Since its classification alongside T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (T-ALL) in the 2008 World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines, T-LBL has been defined by the presence of fewer than 25% bone marrow blasts.2 While both autologous and allogeneic haematopoietic stem cell transplantation (auto-HSCT and allo-HSCT) have been used as...

Low apolipoprotein B and LDL-cholesterol are associated with the risk of cardiovascular and all-cause mortality: a prospective cohort
Abstract Background The association between low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol and increased mortality risk has been well-documented, yet apolipoprotein B (apoB) is regarded as a more precise risk indicator. However, a comprehensive analysis integrating both markers in relation to mortality risk remains unreported. Objectives This study aimed to investigate the relationship between LDL cholesterol levels and mortality across varying apoB concentrations within the general population.

Endovascular therapy is effective in patients with post-thrombotic syndrome based on anatomical classification: a multi-center experience
Keywords Post-Thrombotic Syndrome Endovascular treatment Venous Classification Obstruction Introduction Currently, anticoagulant therapy remains effective in preventing thrombus aggregation, pulmonary embolism, and death in cases of lower-extremity deep vein thrombosis (DVT)1,2. However, the incidence of post-thrombotic syndrome (PTS) remains high (20–50%) post DVT3. PTS develops secondary to DVT, resulting from venous hypertension caused by venous obstruction or valve injury.

The Impact of Special Marine Environments Such as the Kuroshio on Hydroacoustic Detection Equipment
1. Introduction Due to the transmission loss of light waves and electromagnetic waves in water being very large, sound waves are the most effective information carriers in the field of acoustic detection, navigation, and communication. Sonar and other acoustic devices serve as crucial detection and navigation instruments for vessels, but the quality of the underwater acoustic environment will directly affect their ability to obtain underwater information [1].

Heparan sulfate-dependent phase separation of CCL5 and its chemotactic activity
eLife assessment How the triplicate interaction between chemokines with both GAGs and G protein-coupled receptors (GPCR) works and how gradients are created and potentially maintained in vivo are poorly understood. The authors provide solid evidence to show phase separation can drive chemotactic gradient formation. The paper is a useful advance in the field of chemokine biology.

Ln‐Mof‐Based Hydrogel Films with Tunable Luminescence and Afterglow Behavior for Visual Detection of Ofloxacin and Anti‐Counterfeiting Applications
Highly selective and sensitive quantitative detection of ofloxacin (OFX) at ultra-low concentrations in aqueous media and development of new afterglow materials remains a challenge. Herein, a new 2D water-stable lanthanide metal-organic framework (NIIC-2-Tb) is proposed, which exhibits high selectivity towards OFX through the luminescence quenching with the lowest detection limit (1.1 nM) reported to date and a fast response within 6 s.

Heparan sulfate dependent phase separation of CCL5 and its chemotactic activity
Abstract Secreted chemokines form concentration gradients in target tissues to control migratory directions and patterns of immune cells in response to inflammatory stimulation; however, how the gradients are formed is much debated. Heparan sulfate (HS) binds to chemokines and modulates their activities. In this study, we investigated the roles of HS in the gradient formation and chemoattractant activity of CCL5 that is known to bind to HS.
A single site ruthenium catalyst for robust soot oxidation without platinum or palladium - Nature Communications
Abstract The quest for efficient non-Pt/Pd catalysts has proved to be a formidable challenge for auto-exhaust purification. Herein, we present an approach to construct a robust catalyst by embedding single-atom Ru sites onto the surface of CeO2 through a gas bubbling-assisted membrane deposition method. The formed single-atom Ru sites, which occupy surface lattice sites of CeO2, can improve activation efficiency for NO and O2.

Synergistic Targeting HER2 and EGFR with Bivalent Aptamer-siRNA Chimera Efficiently Inhibits HER2-Positive Tumor Growth
In this study, we have developed a bivalent HER2 aptamer-EGFR siRNA chimeras that can interfere the functions of HER2 and EGFR receptors and induce HER2 positive breast cancer cell apoptosis. In previous studies, we have developed a platform technology by using bivalent aptamer to deliver two siRNAs into prostate cancer.
Interface Effect of Mixed Phase Pt/ZrO2 Catalyst for HCHO Oxidation at Ambient Temperature
A series of high-efficiency Pt/ZrO2 catalysts were successfully prepared by simple methods on the basis of a ZrO2 support with a mixed monoclinic/tetragonal phase structure. The activity test results showed that the mixed phase catalysts exhibited higher catalytic activity than pure monoclinic phase, and HCHO can be completely oxidized into CO2 and H2O at near ambient temperature.
