There are polysemy phenomena in human language. That is, a word has different meanings in different context. For example, ‘ben’ has three meanings, including ‘book’, ‘capital’ and ‘foundation’. So, we need to determine correct meaning of ambiguous word according to its context. WSD is a process which allocates polysemous word with semantic category. WSD is to solve ambiguity problem in text and determine semantics of words. WSD is crucial to many tasks in field of natural language processing.
