Yamicia Connor’s Biography

Yamicia Connor, MD, Ph.D., MPH, is an OB-GYN physician-scientist with a diverse training background in medicine, science, engineering, entrepreneurship, and public health. She is passionate about using innovation to improve women's lives and reduce health inequities. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Connor works as a Women’s Health Consultant for GV (formally Google Ventures) and various other firms. She also co-founded a nonprofit, Race to Better Health, a patient-centered, interdisciplinary organization dedicated to Engineering Health Equity. By combining her clinical work with her work with entrepreneurship, investing, and consulting, she can think deeply and creatively about diseases impacting women's health while also thinking deeply and creatively about healthcare delivery mechanisms.
