Yarne Puts’s Biography
With a solid foundation in communication studies from Hogeschool PXL and an academic background in journalism from KU Leuven, I seamlessly blend my passion for language and current events into my daily work. My university years were marked by a profound interest in Dutch linguistics, American history, and culture, which naturally led me to write for the student magazine Veto. There, I honed my writing skills and gained invaluable experience.
In my final year, I expanded my expertise by working as a subtitler for BRUZZ and assisting with Dutch language courses at CLL. These experiences, combined with the practical video skills I developed during my master's program, prepared me for a dynamic career as a video journalist.
My journey with TV Limburg began as an intern and evolved into a full-time role where I now produce daily news reports. I have a keen focus on social issues and political developments but remain versatile and open to diverse news stories.
