Hello!
I'm Yaseen Ahmad, a British-Bangladeshi freelance journalist from south London who covers video games, board games and trading card games (TCGs). I've written for Eurogamer, Rock Paper Shotgun and Dicebreaker, with a range of experience over 3 years in features, reviews, guides, lists and news posts.
I'm very passionate about:
-> adventure and puzzle games (particularly indie games that are lighter and relaxing to play)
-> smaller story driven games (including visual novels)
-> platformers (anything reminiscent of the 3D Sonics, Ratchet and Clanks, Jak and Daxters and Spyros I grew up on in the late 90s-00s)
-> card games, both digital (including Marvel Snap) and physical (including the Yu-Gi-Oh!, Pokémon and Lorcana TCGs)
-> driving games (those more arcade-y, such as Need For Speed and Burnout)
-> sports games (I'm an ardent fan of the FIFA and NBA 2K series)
