High-gloss appliqués also spectacularly set the scene for restrained colour tones. At the VIENNA FASHION WEEK, the Bremen-based designer with ecological aspirations combined black with white, simplicity with sophistication. From tight-fitting pieces and shift dresses to flowing dresses and trousers, PROTOTYPE.Schumacher presented a varied range of cuts.

MARINÁ: Cut out, all in

The Slovakian designer behind MARINÁ presented her new collection PERPETUUM in VIENNA on Saturday. She drew her inspiration from the visual arts and worked with geometric details. The focus was on bold cuts and monochrome colours. It was immediately apparent that designer Marina Žiaková’s collection was inspired by the works of Milan Dobeš, among others: just like the artist, who also works in Bratislava, she plays with shapes and uses a few colours in a targeted manner.
