Improving leaf spring phenology modelling for temperate tree species: An integration of the Farquhar-Medlyn photosynthesis model with the optimality‐based approach - Gu - Methods in Ecology and Evolution - Wiley Online Library
1 INTRODUCTION Spring leaf phenology (spring phenology hereafter)—the timing of plant leaf emergence and development during spring—plays an important role in regulating plant functions, ecosystem services and biogeochemical feedback related to climate change (Badeck et al., 2004; Lieth, 2013; Piao et al., 2019). Alterations in spring phenology can impact species interactions and cause cascade effects on trophic levels (Chmura et al., 2019; Cohen et al., 2018; Yang & Rudolf, 2010).
Ergothioneine, a New Acrolein Scavenger at Elevated Temperature
Introduction Click to copy section linkSection link copied! Acrolein (ACR), the simplest α, β-unsaturated aldehyde, features both a carbonyl group and an unsaturated bond, which contributes to its high reactivity. (1) It has been proved that ACR, as an electrophilic reagent, is prone to cross-linking with the nucleophilic sites of DNA, proteins, and other biomacromolecules in the human body.

Designed Synthesis of MOR Zeolites using Gemini-type Bis(methylpyrrolidinium) Dications as Structure Directing Agents and Their DME Carbonylation Performance
Designed Synthesis of MOR Zeolites using Gemini-type Bis(methylpyrrolidinium) Dications as Structure Directing Agents and Their DME Carbonylation Performance Nan Chen, Jin Zhang, Yating Gu, Wenna Zhang, KaiPeng Cao, Wenhao Cui, Shutao Xu, Dong Fan, Peng Tian and Zhongmin Liu Abstract Mordenite (MOR) zeolite is efficient catalyst for dimethyl ether (DME) carbonylation and syngas to ethylene due to the unique confinement effect and catalytic activity in 8-membered ring (8-MR) side pockets.
