Layer polarization provides a means of tuning the competition between interlayer and intralayer pairing in bilayer nickelates. Using ground-state constrained-path quantum Monte Carlo, we study interlayer $s^{\pm}$ and intralayer $d$ pairing in a bilayer two-orbital Hubbard model with a layer potential-energy difference $\varepsilon$ representing an effective perpendicular electric field.
Abstract Objective: This study aimed to explore the factors influencing the professional identity of medical care assistants (MCAs) and to interpret relevant findings through the lens of social identity theory, thereby informing strategies to support professional identity and workforce stability. Methods: A qualitative descriptive research design was adopted.
