NR3C1/PRKACG-mediated impairment of mitochondrial quality control underlies stress-induced hypothalamic neuronal injury
Abstract The hypothalamus integrates autonomic, endocrine, and behavioral responses to stress, and stress-induced hypothalamic neuronal injury is implicated in various diseases. However, the underlying molecular mechanisms remain unclear. Mitochondria, as stress-sensitive organelles, play a critical role in cellular injury through structural and functional alterations.

The TF/Nrf2/GSTP1 pathway is involved in stress‐induced hepatocellular injury through ferroptosis
1 INTRODUCTION In response to physiological stress, there is a substantial increase in glucocorticoid (GC) levels.1 High levels of GC act on vital organs, such as the brain, heart, kidneys and liver, mobilizing energy to meet demands while also regulating inflammatory responses and cellular functions.2 It inhibits the activity of mitochondrial electron transport chain complexes, leading to an increase in reactive oxygen species (ROS).3 This induces cellular stress responses, ultimately...

Effect of Ball Milling Time on the Microstructure and Properties of High-Silicon-Aluminum Composite
1. Introduction High-silicon–aluminum composite, as an electronic packaging material, has many advantages, such as a relatively small density, high thermal conductivity, low coefficient of thermal expansion, good mechanical properties, good weldability, easy precision machining, non-toxicity, etc. Hence, high-silicon–aluminum composite materials for electronic packaging fulfill the requirements of modern electronic packaging development [1,2,3,4,5].
Endoplasmic reticulum stress induced by turbulence of mitochondrial fusion and fission was involved in stressed cardiomyocyte injury
1 INTRODUCTION Stress is a pervasive component of life that affects all individuals, with different intensities and frequencies. Epidemiological studies have indicated that stress is an important cause of the development of mental diseases.

Methamphetamine Inhibits Long-Term Memory Acquisition and Synaptic Plasticity by Evoking Endoplasmic Reticulum Stress
Introduction Methamphetamine (MA), an amphetamine-type stimulant, has been abused worldwide and its use has increased the heath and economic burden to individuals and society (Courtney and Ray, 2014; Xu et al., 2019). Acting mainly on the dopaminergic, noradrenergic, and serotonergic pathways of the central nervous system (Cruickshank and Dyer, 2009), MA induces significant neurotoxicity (Shaerzadeh et al., 2018), one of which is cognitive impairment.
Extracting Molecular Responses in Ultrafast Charge Transfer Dynamics at Material Interfaces
Extracting Molecular Responses in Ultrafast Charge Transfer Dynamics at Material Interfaces We introduce a new data analysis method, which can be applied to transient vibrational sum-frequency generation spectroscopy, to reveal hidden molecular dynamics of charge transfer at molecular heterojunction interfaces. After validating the method, we used it to extract molecular dynamics at organic semiconductor/metal interfaces, which was otherwise dominiated by electronic dynamics.

Manipulating optical nonlinearities of molecular polaritons by delocalization
Abstract Optical nonlinearities are key resources in the contemporary photonics toolbox, relevant to quantum gate operations and all-optical switches. Chemical modification is often used to control the nonlinear response of materials at the microscopic level, but on-the-fly manipulation of such response is challenging. Tunability of optical nonlinearities in the mid-infrared (IR) is even less developed, hindering its applications in chemical sensing or IR photonic circuitry.

Unveiling the Role of tBP-LiTFSI Complexes in Perovskite Solar Cells
Abstract Lead halide-based perovskite materials have been applied as an intrinsic layer for next-generation photovoltaic devices. However, the stability and performance reproducibility of perovskite solar cells (PSCs) needs to be further improved to match that of silicon photovoltaic devices before they can be commercialized.
Direct observation of the intermediate in an ultrafast isomerization.
Using a combination of two-dimensional infrared (2D IR) and variable temperature Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopies the rapid structural isomerization of a five-coordinate ruthenium complex is investigated. In methylene chloride, three exchanging isomers were observed: 1) square pyramidal equatorial, (1); 2) trigonal bipyramidal, (0); and 3) square pyramidal apical, (2).
Let There be Light: Stability of Palmitic Acid Monolayers at the Air/Salt Water Interface in the Presence and Absence of Simulated Solar Light and a Photosensitizer
Fatty acid monolayers are known surfactants present at air/water interfaces. However, little is known about the stability of these fatty acid monolayers in the presence of solar radiation. Here we have investigated for the first time, the stability of palmitic acid monolayers on salt water interfaces in the presence and absence of simulated solar light with and without a photosensitizer in the underlying salt subphase.
Ultrafast direct electron transfer at organic semiconductor and metal interfaces
The ability to control direct electron transfer can facilitate the development of new molecular electronics, light-harvesting materials, and photocatalysis. However, control of direct electron transfer has been rarely reported, and the molecular conformation–electron dynamics relationships remain unclear.
