ETS1 inhibition relieves renal ischemia-reperfusion injury by downregulating PARP1
Abstract To investigate the role of PARP1 inhibitors in RIR and explore the underlying mechanisms. By clamping the renal artery to induce an RIR rat model, we investigated the effects of PARP1 inhibitors and ETS proto-oncogene 1 (ETS1) on renal function and cellular DNA damage in rats using hematoxylin-eosin staining, immunofluorescence staining, ELISA, and comet assays.
Genome-wide CRISPR screening in Spodoptera frugiperda reveals the determinants of insecticide activation and sensitivity
Abstract Insecticide resistance poses a growing threat to global human health and food security. Addressing this challenge requires a comprehensive understanding of the molecular determinants that govern insecticide action and insect sensitivity. However, identifying and functionally validating the specific genes - among the tens of thousands present in a typical insect genome - that contribute to insecticide mode of action and resistance remains a major challenge.
