What does it mean to be a journalist?

A journalist collects raw data, and in the most unbiased way possible, creates digestible news from it.

How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?

Email. Short, and simple. Not a sales pitch. Get to the point.

Who do you wish followed you?

Rihanna.

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

I did, actually! I was a staff writer, and also worked as a photographer for the paper. I had a great teacher, who pushed me hard.

What's the worst pitch you ever got?

Empty emails are the worst.

What's your favorite drink?

Whiskey.
