Recyclable Poly(urethane-urea) Covalent Adaptable Network Foams via Catalyst-, Isocyanate-, and Additive-Free Synthesis
For decades, poly(urethane-urea) (PUU) foam production has relied on hazardous isocyanates and a complex array of external catalysts and blowing agents, resulting in chemically persistent materials that defy recycling. Herein, we break this convention by reporting the first-ever synthesis of high-performance PUU foams through an entirely autonomous, isocyanate-free, and additive-free pathway.
Continuous monitoring of marine metazoan diversity using sediment trap eDNA metabarcoding in the Ulleung Basin, East Sea, off the Korean Peninsula Open Access
Marine biodiversity fluctuates in response to environmental changes and biological interactions (Butchart et al. 2010, Urban 2015), serving as a key indicator of ecosystem resilience, productivity, and stability (Butchart et al. 2010, Isbell et al. 2015). However, sustained biodiversity monitoring in oceanic regions remains logistically challenging due to harsh weather conditions and high operational costs (Benway et al. 2019, Suter et al. 2021).

Short-term outcomes of single-port robotic surgery versus single-port laparoscopic surgery for colon cancer: a multicenter matched-cohort analysis - Surgical Endoscopy
Abstract Single-port laparoscopic surgery (SPLS) improves patient comfort; however, it has limitations, including poor instrument triangulation. The da Vinci® SP system used in single-port robotic surgery (SPRS) addresses these challenges. Most studies on SPRS involve small case series or comparisons with multiport procedures, usually lacking direct comparisons with SPLS for colon cancer.
Performance Prediction of a Water-Cooled Centrifugal Chiller in Standard Temperature Conditions Using In-Situ Measurement Data
1. Introduction 1.1. Background and Objectives Water-cooled chillers play an essential role in maintaining indoor temperature and humidity in large-scale cooling applications. Water-cooled chillers play a crucial role in managing the majority of the cooling load in large buildings and have a substantial impact on overall energy consumption []. Recently, the need to improve the efficiency of chillers has become increasingly critical due to climate change.

The mediating effects of parenting style on the relationship between parental stress and behavioral problems in girls with precocious puberty in Korea: a cross-sectional study | BMC Pediatrics | Full Text
The final analysis of this study did not support our first hypothesis. In other words, we found that parental stress did not directly affect children’s behavioral problems. However, findings from this study partially supported our second hypothesis. This is because positive parenting styles did not show an indirect effect; only negative parenting styles showed an indirect effect on the child’s externalizing as well as internalizing behavioral problems.
Economic Evaluation of Small Public Office Buildings with Class 1 of Zero Energy Building (ZEB) in Korea by Reflecting Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)
1. Introduction 1.1. Background and Purpose As the severity of global climate change increases, domestic and foreign government agencies are implementing policies to curb greenhouse gas emissions and resource consumption across industries. For example, in Korea, policies for recycling greenhouse gases and resources generated by buildings are being enacted and strengthened.
Longitudinal relationship between depression and antisocial behaviors in Korean adolescents
1. Introduction Adolescence is a phase of developmental trajectories characterized by confusion and conflict resulting from multifaceted transitions, including physical, emotional, and behavioral changes. Many adjustment-related challenges during this period fall into two categories: (a) internalizing disorders comprising emotional problems such as depression and anxiety; and (b) externalizing disorders, where inner conflicts are acted out through aggressive behaviors and delinquencies (1).

Clinical Implication of Perineural and Lymphovascular... : Diseases of the Colon & Rectum
BACKGROUND: Lymphovascular and perineural invasion are well-known negative prognostic indicators in rectal cancer, but previous studies on their significance are not consistent. OBJECTIVE: This study assessed the prognostic value of lymphovascular and perineural invasion in rectal cancer patients who received preoperative chemoradiotherapy followed by curative resection. DESIGN: This is a retrospective analysis. SETTING: This study was performed at a tertiary cancer center.
