Transcriptomics driven identification of hub gene miRNA interactions for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery in gynecological cancers
1 Introduction Cervical cancer (CC) is the fourth leading cause of cancer-related deaths among women worldwide,; approximately 483,000 new cases and 274,000 deaths have occurred in low- and middle-income countries in recent years, representing the highest burden globally (1, 2). Although global vaccination and screening programs have reduced the incidence of several gynecological cancers, CC remains a major public health challenge (2).

Shifts in the fungal community promote soil carbon accumulation in microaggregates during long‐term secondary succession
1 INTRODUCTION Natural secondary succession on abandoned agricultural land is an effective nature-based ecoengineering approach for increasing soil organic carbon (SOC) sequestration (Deng et al., 2020). Soil microbes play a critical role in the formation of SOC fractions through a mechanism known as the ‘microbial carbon pump’, which involves ‘ex vivo modification’ and ‘in vivo turnover’.
Future Soil Erosion Risk in China: Differences in Erosion Driven by General and Extreme Precipitation Under Climate Change
1 Introduction The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) propose the ambitious goal of ending hunger, achieving zero land degradation, ensuring food security, and promoting healthy lives by 2030, which will inevitably intensify pressure on land resources (Kamilaris et al., 2019). Globally, water erosion is one of the largest and most widespread natural phenomena (Chappell et al., 2016).

Vertical distribution of soil available phosphorus and soil available potassium in the critical zone on the Loess Plateau, China
Abstract Soil available phosphorus (SAP) and soil available potassium (SAK) are important elements in the growth of plants. However, limited data are available regarding the vertical distribution of SAP and SAK in deep soil profiles. In this study, we investigated the vertical variations in SAP and SAK in the critical zone on the Loess Plateau (50–200 m), China, by using classical statistical and geostatistical methods.
Exogenous hydrogen sulfide attenuates cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury by inhibiting autophagy in mice
Hydrogen sulfide (H S), the third gas transmitter, has been proven to be neuroprotective in cerebral ischemic injury, but whether its effect is mediated by regulating autophagy is not yet clear. The present study was undertaken to explore the underlying mechanisms of exogenous H S on autophagy regulation in cerebral ischemia.
