Unraveling the Roles of MW/UV/TiO2 Photocatalysis Technologies for Organic Wastewater Treatment
2.5. Factors Affecting the Photocatalytic Efficiency of MW/UV/TiO2. 2.5.1. Pollutant Concentration The initial concentration of pollutants is a parameter to be considered in the MW/UV/TiO2 photocatalytic treatment of organic wastewater. The target pollutants and their intermediates can be adsorbed on the surface of the TiO2 and occupy the position of reaction activity, thus affecting the removal effect [117]. Normally, the removal efficiency decreases as the concentration increases.
Graphite nanoparticle as nanoquecher for 17β-estradiol detection using shortening aptamer sequence
Graphite nanoparticle (GN) with spherical shape and stacked by a few layered graphene sheets is an ideal fluorescent nanoquencher for the fluorophore. We developed a novel aptasensor based on fluorescence resonance energy transfer for sensitive and specific detection of 17β-estradiol (E2) by using the GN as fluorescent nanoquencher and the shorten E2 specific aptamer as sensing probe.
