1 Introduction Fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP) has been widely used as an insulation material for communication wires because of its favorable electrical insulation, thermal resistance, chemical stability, and processing characteristics [1-5]. Introducing a bubble structure into FEP insulation can reduce polymer consumption and lower the effective dielectric constant of the insulation layer, which is beneficial for lightweight cable production and high-frequency signal transmission [6, 7].
