Large-area flat-panel detector versus conventional detector for full-spine digital radiography: a retrospective comparative study
Abstract Objective: To compare workflow efficiency, tube current-exposure time product (mAs), and image quality between a DRX-LC large-area flat-panel detector and a conventional flat-panel detector for full-spine digital radiography. Methods: In this retrospective comparative study, radiographs and examination records of 90 adult patients who underwent full-spine anteroposterior (AP) and lateral (LAT) digital radiography between August and September 2025 were retrospectively reviewed.
Optimal Export Taxes in Global Value Chain
1 Introduction When import tariffs are suppressed under trade agreements, export taxes can be an alternative policy to manipulate a country's terms of trade, according to Lerner Symmetry. Not regulated by the WTO, export taxes have the potential to be a beggar-thy-neighbour trade policy, but the determinants and optimality of implemented export taxes have long been understudied. The main reason is the lack of data.
Multiple blood pressure parameters and risk of incident diabetes in adults with elevated blood pressure: a cohort study with non-linear analyses
Abstract Aims: This study aimed to compare the strengths of association and predictive performance of systolic BP (SBP), diastolic BP (DBP), mean arterial pressure (MAP), pulse pressure (PP), pulse pressure index (PPI), and the SBP/DBP ratio for incident diabetes among Chinese adults with elevated BP. Methods: This retrospective cohort study included 29,377 adults with elevated BP from a large Chinese health examination database.
Stress-Induced Optimization of Electrochemical Corrosion Behavior and Fatigue Properties of Magnesium Alloys Under the Regulation of Diffusion Layer Depth
1 Introduction Under resource and environmental pressures, lightweighting has become a core development direction for the industry. Mg, compared to metallic materials such as iron (Fe) and Al, offers substantial potential for further development and utilization [1]. Mg and its alloys, as novel lightweight and high-performance metallic materials [2], demonstrate particularly broad application prospects.
LncRMRP drives bladder cancer invasion via a lactylation-driven positive feedback circuit
Abstract Muscle-invasive bladder cancer (MIBC) remains highly aggressive. We identified the long non-coding RNA RMRP as significantly upregulated in MIBC. Functional studies demonstrated that RMRP promotes invasive phenotypes and glycolytic reprogramming.

DP21463 Estimating Tax-Dependent Compliance: Theory and Evidence from Trade Wars
English Français Deutsch Italiano 中文 More Español Ελληνικά 日本語 Português Türkçe Statutory tariff rates may overstate the tariffs actually paid due to evasion and avoidance. We develop a novel method to estimate tariff compliance and apply it to the 2018 trade war, when several countries imposed retaliatory tariffs on U.S. exports. Estimated compliance falls by 25 percentage points after tariff increases; a one percentage point tariff increase reduces compliance by 1 to 2 percentage points.

Highly sensitive and stable perovskite detector for ultrahigh-energy radiations via dynamic repair regulation - Nature Photonics
Abstract Ultrahigh-energy radiations, including X-rays, electrons and protons exceeding 1 MeV, are prevalent in various field, including radiation therapy, astronomy, high-energy physics and nuclear power plants. However, their detection remains challenging owing to low interaction cross-sections, and even when interactions occur, radiation-induced atomic displacements lead to severe material damage, compromising both the sensitivity and stability of current detectors.

Electrochemical C4 alkylation of pyridine derivatives: Enhanced regioselectivity via silane assistance
Abstract Pyridine derivatives are valuable biologically active compounds, materials, and ligands; however, traditional methods for site-selective direct functionalization are often hindered by multistep procedures and harsh conditions. Herein, we report the general and efficient electroreductive C4 alkylation of pyridine derivatives with various alkyl bromides with high regioselectivity and good yields.

Cooling rate uncovers epimer-dependent supramolecular organization of carbohydrate amphiphiles
Cooling rate uncovers epimer-dependent supramolecular organization of carbohydrate amphiphiles We show distinct CH-π interactions and assembly pathways for the amphiphile N-(fluorenylmethoxycarbonyl)-galactosamine and its epimer N-(fluorenylmethoxycarbonyl)-glucosamine. These differences result in the formation of supramolecular nanofibrous systems with opposite chirality.

Zirconium-based metal-organic framework loaded agarose hydrogels for fluorescence turn-on detection of nerve agent simulant vapor
Zirconium-based metal-organic framework loaded agarose hydrogels for fluorescence turn-on detection of nerve agent simulant vapor Developing reliable sensors that accurately detect deadly chemical gases is critical to global security. Nerve agents are one of the most dangerous chemicals in the world and are often found in gaseous forms in the environment, which remain a challenge to detect because of their low levels.
An Adaptive Torque Observer Based on Fuzzy Inference for Flexible Joint Application
Abstract : Torque observation techniques have been widely employed to estimate the load torque of flexible joints driven by a permanent magnet synchronous machine (PMSM). However, the performance of the observer degrades significantly when the position and orientation of the robot continuously changes, resulting in substantial irregular load variations. In this paper, an adaptive torque observer based on fuzzy inference is proposed to overcome this issue.
