Multiple promotion effect of mixed solvents on the oxidative degradation of thermosetting polymers
Multiple promotion effect of mixed solvents on the oxidative degradation of thermosetting polymers† Yuwei Long,a Zhishan Su, b Lan Bai, a Xu Zhao,a Wenli An,a Xuehui Liu,a Shimei Xu *a and Yu-Zhong Wang*a Abstract The solvent effect has been widely explored in small molecule reactions. However, understanding of the solvent effect on the degradation of thermosetting polymers, especially when it comes to mixed solvents, remains largely elusive.
A mild and efficient oxidative degradation system of epoxy thermosets: full recovery and degradation mechanism
A mild and efficient oxidative degradation system of epoxy thermosets: full recovery and degradation mechanism† Yuwei Long,a Fei Tian,a Lan Bai, a Wenli An,a Xu Zhao,a Rongcheng Du,a Xuehui Liu,a Xuelian Zhou,a Shimei Xu *a and Yu-Zhong Wang*a Abstract Despite its high energy efficiency, the oxidative degradation of thermosetting resins has some limitations in practical application due to the complexity and non-selectivity of the oxidation reaction.
Efficient one-pot synthesis of carbon dots as fluorescence probe for selective and sensitive detection of rifampicin based on inner filter effect
In this paper, carbon dots (CDs) emitting blue fluorescence was prepared using ammonium citrate and ammonium thiocyanate through a low-cost hydrothermal approach. The synthesized carbon dots with the maximum excitation and emission wavelength at 350 nm and 443 nm displayed excitation-independent photoluminescence behavior. The relative quantum yield of as-prepared carbon dots was measured to be 14%.
