What was your first job as a journalist?

I'm a new travel journalist so I combined my passion for sleeper trains with a lesser known destination. I was in awe of the opportunity!

Why did you become a journalist?

I have a passion for getting under the skin of a destination or trying to understand and report on a different perspective.

What's your favorite drink?

Depends on the the time of day!

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?

Searching for adventure either on my doorstep or elsewhere in the world, no matter how big or very small... or renovating my home.

Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?

I like getting lost in stories about places and people - so I enjoy having a cup of tea and reading Wanderlust to Nat Geo Traveller.
