Why did you become a journalist?

To combine my passion for writing with fascination for attention to detail and analysis when watching sport

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

I was editor of the annual school magazine, commissioning, creating and editing articles for two years in a row

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

The transfer of Gabriel Martinelli to Arsenal, as it was very unknown at the time, but he has since developed into a big name at the club

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Always turn the opportunity into something more

At a football match or a gig

That I have a bias purely because I support a certain football team
