1 Introduction Atlantica Cinemas Limited (Atlantica) is a chain of movie theaters with six locations throughout Eastern Canada. The chain was started in early 2005 by Martin Dover, a Nova Scotian and former executive of a large cinema chain. To begin Atlantica, Martin used his own life savings, as well as investment money from several friends and family members, and a loan from the local Credit Union.
