Understanding human nature, practicing fair-mindedness and independence, treating carefully the power of the media to help or hinder.
When's the best time to pitch you?
Anytime there is breaking news that aligns with my interests and expertise.
What's the most common misperception about your beat?
The false assumption of partisanship. Luckily there are a few of us fair-minded, fiercely independent commentators and analysts left.
