Little change in 2023, except more looting
Zanda Shumba WHEREAS China has an open one-party State, Zimbabwe has a covert single party rule, with some opposition parties contesting in elections tightly controlled and monitored by the army, more often predetermined. There can be no hope for change in Zimbabwe under the current skewed electoral setting.
Mnangagwa's insatiable appetite for power a security threat
There are a number of issues that disturb the security of any nation. A nation's success depends largely on how it is governed. People spoke during the elections, but he refused to listen. He actually changed their words to suit what he wanted. Some voices he muzzled, muzzling the voice of God to use his logic. Even now activists continue to face arbitrary arrests.
