Hi there! I'm Zane Warman, a freelance writer based in New York City specializing in music, with added interests/coverage in local politics. My work has appeared in outlets such as Billboard, Paste, The FADER, Bedford + Bowery, Ears to Feed, Washington Square News, and more.

I studied at New York University, dual-majoring in Broadcast Journalism and Social and Cultural Analysis, minoring in Creative Writing. I enjoy bringing these three foci together in whatever ways I can: reporting on or discussing the broader social impacts of a certain piece of art, creating videos of and for people wishing to change the way their community functions, or writing passionately about a perspective on what's evolving or devolving around me.
